This will be a hotel review of the Hyatt Place in Poughkeepsie, NY located by the Hudson Valley.

On Saturday October 18, we took a fall foliage road trip to Poughkeepsie and stayed at the Hyatt Place hotel. As you walk in, you are greeted with a nice lobby with front desk, breakfast area, sitting area, business center, and more.

In the back is where the pool and fitness center are located.

Here is the fitness center at the hotel.

And the last thing on the first floor is the pool area. There is no whirlpool in the pool area.

Here are the main elevators at this hotel. These elevators run very well.

To get to the guest laundry, you’ll have to take the elevator up to the second floor (Floor 2). As you exit the elevator to the right, you’ll see the guest laundry straight ahead.

The laundry room only has 1 washer and one dryer. The washer costs $1.75 and the dryer costs $1.50.

The ice machine is located on the the 4th floor (top floor).

Now we go to my room which is on this floor. I am in room 426.

This room is a king bed with a sofa bed on the couch.

Here is the bathroom.

Here is the view out the window. It is a nice view from the top floor.

Overall, it was a decent hotel. The hotel is fairly new since it opened in 2019.
